A platform for your online shop
Shopify is a great platform to use for your online shop. Whether you are currently using Etsy, another platform, or haven’t even started yet, Shopify should be your next platform of choice.
Not only does Shopify allow you to completely customize your website, but it offers multiple theme templates, and tons of apps to add on so your website will be the way you have always dreamed it to be.

For building your email list
Hopefully you understand the importance of an email list for your business. Equally important is using the right email marketing platform.
Unlike most other platforms, ConvertKit was actually built for bloggers and online businesses. They make it easy to set up automation, content upgrades, sales sequences, and organize your list.
The easier the platform the more likely you are to want to use it and grow your email list.

For digital project and task management
More and more people are preferring digital options over all else. But what I like to do for planning projects and my life is to use both a physical and a digital planner.
In my physical planner (The Living Well Planner) I plan everything and write it out. Then in my digital Asana planner I break down my plans into actionable bite sized steps.
The best part (besides the fact that it’s free) is that Asana will send you notifications on your phone and send emails to remind you of your tasks that are due!
Did I mention it’s free!?
To organize thoughts and plans for your business
I know what you’re thinking, another digital organization tool. Yes, but this one isn’t for planning out your tasks and projects in the way Asana does.
Evernote is where I organize my blog posts, content upgrades, and my thoughts and future plans for my business.
There is also a web clipper feature so you can clip articles and pages you find helpful online and save them within your Evernote notebooks.
While you can pay to upgrade your account on Evernote, I use the free version and it does everything I need!
You can have the desktop version and sync it your the app so you can easily add new ideas while you’re on the go.
To schedule and grow your Pinterest
Pinterest is my #1 traffic driver. And the same is true for majority of bloggers and online businesses out there.
In order to really grow your Pinterest you need to pin A LOT each and every day, consistently. Who has time for that!?
Enter my favorite scheduler, Tailwind. For a low monthly fee, you can easily grow your Pinterest and your traffic. Just schedule out your pins ahead of time then sit back and watch the traffic roll in!
Tailwind also has awesome additional features so you can really take advantage of Pinterest for your business.

Honestly, as a business owner, the learning will never end. That’s why you need to join a platform like SkillShare where they have online classes for everything you need to run and grow your business.

To edit and design your photos
While there are endless free photo editing tools, none of them offer as many features as Adobe Photoshop.
With Photoshop you can not only edit your photos into beautiful pieces but you can create your social media and website graphics too.
Photoshop does have a bit of a learning curve but there are endless tutorials within Photoshop and online (including on SkillShare).
To design your marketing graphics
If you can’t fit Photoshop into your budget just yet, Canva is a great second option for creating social media and website graphics.
You can do just about everything you need with the free version of Canva, but there are more features available when you upgrade to a paid account.
Canva is very user friendly, and there are also tons of tutorials on how to use it to it’s full advantage.
